Short Stop in Newport Beach-- A'maree's birthday bash--

Oh what a night we had--fun with Jill Bredel who flew in from New York.
We were there to celebrate Dawn at the fabulous environment called
A'maree's -
My jewelry creations are presented there in ways that makes everything look sensational -and its not just about clothing and all else its the whole gestalt of fashion and art.

The Jewelry showing at my studio was successful - lots of great
gals came to view and have a glass of champagne-

One of the tables with goodies-
Made it colorful and easy to pick up
and try on-

Another table -- the jewelry looked dazzling in the sun room-

The girls from Urban Zen located in Sag Harbor

I am a nest maker...

                                                                               Let's talk about creativity....

I have to make something beautiful happen, whether it's interior design, or a painting, a photograph, or a piece of jewelry, I have to make something beautiful.

This week I finished up a house in Studio City, and my clients are happy campers. I plan to be in New York for another client in May.

I created new rings in bronze and black rhodium and matte silver and gold, very stackable, so chic.
I am preparing for a private showings at my new studio in Los Angeles, and excited about that. Just don't let it rain!
Ten things I cannot live without:

1. My car, my computer, and my cell phone.
2. My plants, which are like my children.

3. My books, which are like my friends.

4. Inspiring myself and staying in the moment.

5. Travel...every day I am in my routine. When I travel I get Out of my routine and learn about myself.

6. My dear friends.

7. My grandchildren, all four of them.

8. Layering. Once you learn to layer, it's the same with everything; clothing, your home, jewelry. I begin with the essentials, then keep adding. To me, that is what makes it individual, the way I layer my sweaters, the things I put on a  table top, the way I layer jewelry. It is a wonderful way to express creativity.

9. Smelling delicious food. I love how food smells, don't you? It perfume for the nose. When I smell tomato sauce cooking it takes me back to my grandmother's house.

10. The sea.
